Yup. It happened. It actually happened. So I’m gonna sell the story a bit before getting into the meat of a little message.

My book is about my experience growing up with many of the stories pulling inspiration from personal anecdotes from me or my friends. The story will have a rapid 2 week launch window and return to a 1 chapter a week schedule afterwards. Please check out the story if you’re interested in sci-fi with a little sinical humor as seasoning.

So what is the story? This will kind of be a spoiler but not really. It should be pretty safe to read this. So the main character’s name is Kaiser. I choose this name because it shows the appearance of power and how someone can appear powerful while being really weak. Throughout my life, I’ve portrayed myself as someone highly intelligent. I really don’t know why people agreed with this. I was probably the most lazy person in the room.

The main character Kaiser has many dreams but one of them is flying a spaceship. This is honestly quite similar to how I have picked up so many hobbies and have become decent at all of them but never dedicated enough time to actually excel in anything. Because I haven’t excelled at anything, my parents (and Kaiser’s parents) believe I’m just wasting my time. So once I was able to leave the house for boarding school I got to experience freedom and essentially threw away many advantages through a series of poorly made decisions.

This story is essentially all my poor decision making. I mean. It is kind of funny. I made some stupid decisions. It worked out in the end though… I guess? I mean… almost dying isn’t fun but like I’m not dead so it’s aight. Anyway, please check out the story! Daily chapters for the next 2 weeks.

I probably won’t talk much about the story for the next week or two to give myself a break from thinking about it. The healthiest thing is to schedule all the chapters than leave it to cook for a week so I won’t be thinking about the story at all for a week or more. That means you’ll be getting more media reviews from me. I’ve gotten my head stuck into some new books so I might write up a review for some nonfiction I’ve been reading. After all, I am a math major.
