Potato is yum

Over the past week they have been slowly shifting resources from their old website to their beta website. The beta website that doesn’t even have all the content migrated over. And then yesterday they fully started redirecting people from the old website to the nonfunctional new website. So, what does this mean? Nothing works.

If you didn’t have an account all your bookmarks are gone. Vanished. There’s nothing left and you can’t find it anymore because all the links are dead links now. Every link to the old website now redirects to the new domain which, like I said, is not functional as not all the data has been migrated. I honestly am baffled by this decision as Asura was still quite a good source despite the glaring issues such as NSFW ads, redirect ads, among other downtime issues with the site but all had solutions that could circumvent the issues. This change however, completely made large swaths of content vanish.

According to others, the reason why the site had downtime in the first place was because majority of the resources were going to the beta site for the premium users. Well, I get that they need money to fund the servers and such so I’ll just leave it at this.
